About

AOTC stands for Ark of the Covenant. We are a four piece alternative rock band based here in Bangor, North Wales.

We need a decent biography here.

Band members:

Bryn Roberts - vocals and guitar
Joe Taylor - Drums
Alex Morrison - Bass
Joe Davies - guitars and general magic (Narnia-type)

We are currently undergoing a search for a new band name, so if you ever have a sudden brainwave, please email us - OK.

i think you should call yourselves “Jacob’s Pillow” - because it was a rock and he recieved a vision from God whilst sleeping on it.

Unfortunately Jacob’s pillow has been taken by a psychedelic rock band in the UK. But good try! The best we’ve come up with is Solemn Promise, but thats taken as well. :(

oh. i just googled it and was disturbed by how unoriginal my idea appears to be. Almost as disturbing as the fact Jason seems to be stalking me on the internet… :P

Does your band name have to be Christian related? could you not just call yourself something random?

what about “the great pumpkin” like in the Charlie Brown comics?

Jason set up the site for us! It doesn’t neccesarily have to be christian related, but it would be nice if it was. One of the reasons we have been asked to change it is because it is too christian sounding!

The great pumpkin sounds a bit too much like The Smashing Pumpkins to me. But then again they have disbanded.

nyahhhr. yeah i spose you’d both be called the pumkins…

mb what about “proof by contradiction”
http://www.anecdote.org.uk/?cat=3

or Trader Jones from Charlie Chalk (the best show ever….)

orrrrr…. Psalm 88v5 (NKJ) “Adrift among the dead” …actually that is a pretty depressing psalm… and it doesn’t even get better towards the end…

mff. so, in conclusion, thinking up a band name is effort. blah, well good luck finding a new name.

n stuff.
